Useless Desires is: Dave Shear (Lead vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Curt Yagi (Bass, keys, backup vocals), James Jarrett (lead guitar) and Wayne Loeb (Drums). Useless Desires is a San Francisco-based band set with a lineup that brings "it" every show. I suppose "it" can be subject to interpretation. Our "it" is the vibe of our music and the emotion it draws from the audience. This is no cover band. Our sound is unique and infectious. You will undoubtedly find yourself singing along to these songs. Useless Desires has been playing the San Francisco live music scene since 2006. With a little help from Craigslist, we are positively set to carve out our place in the music world. Exactly what we carve out is yet to be determined. Either way, come join the ride. Useless Desires is currently recording their first album due out in the summer of 2008. In the meantime, you can catch them playing live in San Francisco and around the bay area.
